Petronella Wyatt – the famous British journalist and author –spent six days in Paracelsus Recovery for an exposé piece in the Mail on Sunday. However, she left with a lot more than she had bargained for. Spending most of her adult years battling insomnia and a sleeping pill problem, the Paracelsus Recovery team made her feel at home and accepted, while their in-house psychiatrist helped her realise that sleeplessness isn’t as frightening as it may seem.
